UPDATE: Grade Fire Burning In CZU Complex Area Contained; Hihn Hammond Fire 50% Contained
SANTA CLARA COUNTY (BCN/CBS SF) -- Two wildfires were burning in the footprint of last year's CZU Lightning Complex on Monday, according to Cal Fire.
Cal Fire officials said the so-called Grade Fire was contained after it scorched 7.5 acres by early Monday afternoon.
The Grade Fire burning near China Grade Road and the N Butano Truck trail was spreading at a slow rate, fire officials said.

As of 12:28 pm, CAL FIRE said "some resources have been released from the scene" once it was contained.

Cal Fire first tweeted about the second fire around 3:30 p.m, near the Hihn Hammond Truck Trail.
"It is burning up to 2 acres in heavy timber understory (forest ground litter)," Cal Fire tweeted, adding the blaze was "not connected" to Monday morning's Grade Fire.
By 5:30 p.m., the blaze had spread to 4 acres and was 50 percent contained, according to Cal Fire.
