Santa Clara County Courthouse Workers' Strike Delays Search Warrant Processing

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Striking court workers in Santa Clara County were back on the picket line Thursday.

The workers say they're understaffed and underpaid. And that it's been a decade since they last got a raise.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department reports that there have been delays in getting search warrants processed.

Managers and even judges are trying to pitch in and do some of the paperwork themselves, but there's concern the court system is beginning to buckle under the strain.

The court system is preparing for a third day of strikes Friday.
