San Pablo Construction Worker Critically Injured In Fall From Roof

SAN PABLO (CBS SF) – A construction worker was injured in a fall at a housing development in San Pablo Tuesday afternoon, a Contra Costa County Fire Protection District official said.

Fire crews responded to a report of a worker who fell at a development along Road 20 around 2:30 p.m., Fire Marshal Robert Marshall said.

It appears the man was on a roof and fell 20 to 25 feet to the concrete below, Marshall said.

The man suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center for treatment, he said.

An update on his condition was not immediately available Tuesday night.
