San Leandro Woman Found Dead Inside Burning Car

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police discovered the dead body of a San Leandro woman inside a burning car parked in Oakland, Friday night.

Firefighters were called to the 6100 block of Marshall Street just before 8 p.m.

Once crews put the fire out, the body was discovered inside the vehicle.

Oakland Police are investigating the death as a homicide. So far, the name of the victim has not been released.
