San Leandro Walmart Evacuated After Fire Breaks Out At McDonald's Inside Store

SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- A Walmart store in San Leandro has been evacuated due to a two-alarm fire that started Saturday evening, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at the store located at 1919 Davis St. shortly after 7:30 p.m., a fire dispatcher said.

The fire occurred at the kitchen of a McDonald's restaurant inside the store, fire officials said.

The blaze was knocked down around 8 p.m., according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported.
