Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation At Wal-Mart In San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- A San Leandro Wal-Mart was evacuated Sunday afternoon after a male suspect called the store and said a bomb was inside, police said.

A store manager called police at 3:25 p.m. to report the threat at the store at 15555 Hesperian Blvd.

Officers responded and searched the store. Nothing suspicious was found, police Lt. Isaac Benabou said.

The store was declared safe at 3:50 p.m.
