San Jose Police Officer Accused Of Raping Undocumented Immigrant Faces New Sexual Assault Allegations

SAN JOSE (KCBS)__ There are new sexual assault allegations against a San Jose police officer accused of raping an undocumented immigrant while on duty.

San Jose Mercury News reports the woman who filed suit against Officer Geoffrey Graves is also alleging that the officer sexually assaulted at least one other woman, and that the San Jose Police Department was aware of that incident.

The newspaper cites court documents, which claim the San Jose Police Department was aware of the sexual assault, which took place sometime before the rape alleged to have happened in September of 2013.

Officer Graves has been on paid administrative leave since posting $100,000 bail last March. He faces as much as eight years in prison if convicted, with possible enhancements since he was armed when the victim claims the assault occurred.
