San Jose police working to detain barricaded person

San Jose police said officers were working to detain a person who barricaded themselves on Tuesday.

Around 3:42 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Almaden Expressway for a call regarding a firearm.

Officers are currently in the 1500 block of Almaden Expressway investigating a weapons call involving a firearm. The suspect has barricaded. Special Operations Units are on scene trying to de-escalate and negotiate a peaceful surrender.
