San Jose Police Ask Public's Help In Locating 2 Young Boys Who May Have Run Away Together

SAN JOSE (KCBS)— San Jose police are asking the public for assistance in locating two young boys that may have run away together.

11-year-old Andres Martinez told his mother that was going running at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. After a few hours, the mother looked for him and contacted police to report him missing when she was unable to locate him. The boy did not have a cell phone with him according to police. Andres is Hispanic with black hair and brown eyes, 5-feet tall, and weighs 85 pounds.

12-year-old Nicholas Oliveira was last seen at his home around 9 a.m the same morning. He's described as Hispanic with brown hair and eyes, 5'2" tall, weighing 100 pounds.

Parents and police have been unable to make direct contact with the runaways, but Nicholas' father was advised by their friends that the two were heading to San Francisco with at least $100 with plans to get a hotel for the night.
