San Jose Gas Station Sells $1.2M Winning Powerball Ticket; Jackpot Grows To $348M

SAN JOSE (KCBS) -- Somebody in San Jose is smiling a little more this weekend after matching five of the six numbers picked in Saturday night's Powerball draw for more than $1.2 million in prize money.

The winning ticket was sold to an unknown winner at the Valero located at 601 Saratoga Avenue in San Jose. That ticket matched the following numbers: 32-16-3-34-12 missing only the Powerball number, 14.

The retailer will received a $6,300 bonus check just for selling the winning ticket.

The Powerball jackpot, however, was not hit last night, so that means Wednesday's drawing is worth an estimated $348 million.
