Motorcyclist dies in San Jose crash

San Jose police said a motorcyclist died on Sunday after being seriously injured in a crash.

The crash happened around 12:19 a.m. near Ocala Avenue and Ridgemont Drive.

Police said the crash was between a van and a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where they later died, and the driver of the van was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Units are currently in the area of Ocala Ave and Ridgemont Dr. investigating a fatal vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a van. The crash remains under investigation.
