According to Deputy Russell Davis of the sheriff's office, deputies responded on reports of woman in possession of a firearm and a knife.
Along with deputies, Russell said a crisis negotiation team and a San Jose Police Department drone were brought in.
Following the use of de-escalation techniques, Russell said the woman was taken into custody for a medical evaluation. Her identity was not released.
"The most important thing we came out with is a peaceful resolution. She was taken into custody and no deputies were injured from this incident," Russell said.
Russell said Tuesday afternoon that the incident remains under investigation.
