2 Tourists Visiting Twin Peaks Robbed At Gunpoint

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Two tourists were robbed at gunpoint as they were taking pictures at San Francisco's Twin Peaks Monday night, police said Tuesday.

The victims, two men in their 20s, were standing in the 400 block of Twin Peaks Boulevard taking photos around 10:10 p.m. when a man in his 20s approached and put a handgun against one man's back, police said.

The suspect threatened to shoot if they yelled and then took a backpack from the second victim. He fled on foot with a second man, taking a backpack containing two tablets, a hard drive, a camera and lens, a USB drive and Euros, police said.

No arrests had been made in the robbery as of Tuesday morning.
