San Francisco Casting Call Announced For Pubic Hair Documentary

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A San Francisco-based sex education group is holding a casting call Sunday for a documentary producer researching trends in pubic hair.

A post on the Center for Sex & Culture website says Los Angeles-based journalist Chloe Schildhause is producing a film that will explore the influence of fashion, advertising and film – porn and mainstream – on pubic hair trends.

According to the casting call, the film will examine "the continuing evolution of where our pubes are headed next."

[Schildhause] is looking for women to participate in interviews where they will discuss their personal relationship to their pubic hair while having their pubic hair region filmed.

The casting call indicated the women will only be filmed from the waist down and can remain anonymous if they choose.

The documentary will be submitted to a number of film festivals, according to the post, so participants should be aware their revealing interviews will reach a potentially large audience.

Those willing to bare all are asked to email the producer at chloe.schildhause@gmail.com for consideration.
