Very Small Earthquake On The San Andreas Fault Shakes Woodside, Redwood City

WOODSIDE (CBS SF) -- A small earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 1.1 struck Thursday morning along the San Andreas Fault near Woodside, Redwood City, San Carlos, and Belmont.

A quake of this size will not cause any damage, but may have been felt by people living directly over the epicenter.

The last major quake along the San Andreas Fault was March 9th, with a revised magnitude of 6.8 off the coast of Eureka.
