Sacto Therapist Facing 2 Years In Jail For Fondling, Kissing Patients

SACRAMENTO (CBS/AP) -- The Sacramento District Attorney's office says a 72-year-old psychotherapist has been found guilty of sexually exploiting his patients.

Marvin Dennis Todd was convicted for two incidents that took place at his Sacramento private practice in 2014.

Todd was accused of touching the breast of a longtime patient without her consent during a session.

In the second incident, he walked a female patient into the lobby after a counseling session and forcibly kissed her. Authorities say she tried unsuccessfully to push him off, but Todd forcibly kissed her again before she could get away.

Todd will be sentenced in November. He faces up to two years in county jail and could be required to register as a sex offender.
