$8,500 Reward For Info On Rohnert Park Teen's Death

ROHNERT PARK (CBS SF) -- Two rewards totaling more than $8,500 have been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed a Rohnert Park teenager, Sonoma County sheriff's officials said.

Kirk Kimberly, 18, was reported missing Oct. 17. His body was found with multiple stab wounds in a shallow grave on the Sonoma State University campus on Nov. 2.

Kimberly's friends and family are raising funds for a reward at http://youcaring.com/kirkkimberlyrewardfund-703305. They had raised more than $6,000 as of Thursday morning.

The Sonoma County Alliance is offering a separate reward of $2,500, sheriff's officials said.

Anyone with information about Kimberly's death has been asked to call sheriff's investigators at (707) 565-2185.
