East Bay Ice Cream Tour Sure To Please Foodies Of All Ages

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Food tours can be a hard sell for kids, especially when its dishes they can't pronounce washed down with wine they can't even drink. The Rockridge Ice Cream Tour is sure to please kids of all ages. The only hard to pronounce dish on this tour is 'gelato.'

You'll have no problem luring the little ones on this one-hour, half-mile guided walking tour through the Rockridge neighborhood, sampling ice cream and learning more about one of America's favorite desserts.

The Rockridge Ice Cream Tours begin May 31, just in time for summer, and will happen every other Sunday. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated. Groups meet and depart from the new Safeway at the corner of College and Claremont, in Oakland. The cost is $15 for adults, and $7.50 for children 12 and under.
