Rio Vista Police Reunite Man Found Lost, Distressed With Family

RIO VISTA (CBS SF) -- Police have reunited a man with his family after officers found him in Rio Vista, appearing lost and unable to speak, police said.

The man, who is autistic, was found around 11:10 a.m., when officers responded to a report of a person in distress near St. Francis and Laurel ways, according to police.

There, officers found the man carrying a blanket and appearing extremely thin, police said.

The man was unable to explain who he is or where he is from. A resident in the neighborhood believed he lived in the area with his family, who may not have realized that he has gone missing, according to police.
