Richmond Man Critically Injured In Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A Richmond man is in critical condition after being shot in Oakland's Fruitvale district late Wednesday night, police said.

Officers who responded to reports of a shooting found the man in the 2900 block of East 7^th St., near the Fruitvale Station shopping center, at 11:48 p.m. on Wednesday suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, police said.

The man was transported to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition, according to police.

Investigators developed information that led officers to the area of 75^th Avenue and Bancroft Avenue, about two blocks south of the Eastmont Town Center. Officers located and arrested an adult male and two juvenile males there at about 12:30 a.m. today for their alleged roles in the shooting, police said.
