Retiring Judge Gets Kinky Sendoff Party In San Francisco Courtroom

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) -- The HR director for San Francisco courts is looking into what happened inside a courtroom on Thursday during a party involving a fake female police officer, a whip and handcuffs.

Sources tell San Francisco Chronicle and KPIX 5's Phil Matier that a woman showed up in superior court judge Richard Kramer's courtroom on Thursday to deliver a singing telegram. She was dressed in a skimpy cop outfit, complete with a Confederate flag patch.

Some court staffers were made uncomfortable by the event and reported it.

Acting presiding judge Teri Jackson -- who is the first African-American woman to serve in that role -- was not happy.

On Friday, Judge Jackson sent an angry e-mail to the rest of the judges, reminding them to behave.
