Residents Injured In San Jose Home Invasion Robbery Inside Gated Community

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Two residents were injured in a home invasion robbery in a gated community in San Jose early Wednesday morning, police said.

The robbery happened at about 3:30 a.m. in the 5600 block of Snowdon Place in the city's Evergreen neighborhood, according to police.

The robbers went into the house armed with weapons and demanded the residents' property. At some point, two of the residents were injured, police said.

The suspects fled before police arrived. One of the residents was taken to a hospital and then released.

Police had not found the suspects as of late this morning and are continuing to investigate.
