Rescuers Pull Man Stranded On Cliff At SF's Land's End To Safety

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Rescuers saved a man was stranded on a rocky edge near Mile High Rock at Lands End.

Crews arrived around 5 p.m. on Monday and set up a rescue plan while the man sat waiting for help part way down the cliff.

One rescuer then rappelled down and put a harness on the man. The pair climbed back up together to safety.

Authorities say the man was being examined by Emergency Medical Services.
