Rare Video Of Mountain Lion Kitten Litters Born In SoCal Mountains

SANTA MONICA (CBS SF) -- It's a rare home movie: two litters of mountain lion kittens inside their dens with their mothers.

The cats were videotaped in the Santa Monica Mountains just north of Los Angeles.

Researchers found the dens by looking at the GPS data on the moms' tracking collars.

There are five kittens in all. Their moms are known as P-35 and P-39.
