Raiders Owner To Meet With Las Vegas Tourism Officials Thursday

OAKLAND (KCBS) -- Raiders owner Mark Davis will be in Las Vegas this week to discuss new stadium and relocation options with the Southern Nevada Tourism group.

Davis will meet Thursday to discuss the proposed stadium that would be shared between the UNLV football team and the Raiders.

Davis recently signed a lease extension at the Oakland Coliseum for next season with options for two years beyond that.   Any move of the Raiders would require the approval of three quarters of the NFL owners.

That stadium would be backed by L.A. developer Majestic Realty as well as the Las Vegas Sands Casino.

As Davis looks to move the team, fans in Oakland are snapping up season tickets, with the team facing the possibility of its first ever season ticket sellout.
