Queen Latifah Steps Down From Talk Show Throne

(KBCW) – After two seasons on the air, The Queen Latifah Show has ended it's talk show reign. Production was halted on Friday and the staff was given the news of the cancellation. It was a decision that Sony Pictures Entertainment and Queen Latifah had reached to end the show.

On Queen Latifah's Facebook page, the ex-talk show host wrote a letter to herself (Latifah's real name is Dana Owens) and staff/crew acknowledging their hard work and dedication to the show.

The Queen Latifah Show is currently scheduled locally weekdays at 2:00pm on KPIX 5 and 9:00am on KBCWtv 44 Cable 12. Episodes will continue to air until September of 2015.
