Pt. Reyes-Petaluma Road Still Closed After SUV Crashes Into Power Pole

MARIN COUNTY (CBS SF) -- Point Reyes-Petaluma Road remains closed at state Highway 1 and Platform Bridge Road in Marin County after a black SUV crashed into a power pole early Monday morning.

California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Roth said an occupant of the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash at 13201 Point Reyes-Petaluma Road that was reported at 12:25 a.m.

PG&E responded to the crash that caused a power outage affecting more than 30 people.

AT&T assumed traffic control at the crash site because a large cable blocked both lanes of the road, according to the CHP. AT&T will notify the CHP when the repairs are complete and the road can reopen, the CHP said Monday afternoon.
