4 Arrested After Police Chase In San Francisco; At Least 1 Suspected In Homicide

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco police have taken four suspects into custody Wednesday afternoon in the city's Potrero Hill neighborhood, following a freeway chase and search of a construction site.

San Francisco police surrounded a construction site at 3rd and Mariposa Streets in the search for a homicide suspect following a freeway chase Wednesday afternoon.

Two other suspects were arrested after the high-speed chase along Interstate 280 that ended at Mariposa and Indiana streets.

No word yet about any victims.

The police department issued a statement saying its officers were helping Oakland Police with a case, but did the statement did not elaborate on the nature of the case.

Earlier, a San Francisco police spokesman told KPIX 5 they were looking for a homicide suspect.
