Police Looking For Armed Men Suspected Of Robbing Martinez Subway Shop (VIDEO)

MARTINEZ (CBS SF) -- Martinez police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a Subway sandwich shop at gunpoint Monday evening.

At 7:36 p.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the business located at 584 Center Ave.

According to an employee, two men entered the shop and one of them pointed a gun at the employee and demanded money from the cash register, police said.

The suspect took the money, while the second suspect walked into the back of the business with another employee and was able to take money from another part of the store, according to police.

After taking the money, both suspects fled on foot. The suspects then entered a silver-colored four-door Honda Civic that was last seen getting onto state Highway 4, police said.

INCIDENT: Armed Robbery at 584 Center Ave. (Sub-Way) On 06/01/2015 at 1936 hours, Martinez Units responded to 584 Center Ave. for a report of an Armed Robbery. The employee advised two suspects entered the store and one suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded the money from the cash register. The suspect took the money out of the cash register as the second suspect walked into the back of the store with the employee. The second suspect took money from another part of the store. Both suspects fled on foot and entered a silver colored four door Honda Civic and were last seen towards HWY 4. Suspect #1 was describe as a WMA in his early 20's wearing a black beanie, black colored hoodie, tan khaki shorts and black shoes. The suspect was armed with a silver colored semi automatic handgun. Suspect #2 was described as a WMA in his early 20's wearing a black and green colored Sharks baseball hat, grey zip up jacket, blue jeans and grey colored shoes. It is unknown if suspect #2 was armed. Below is surveillance video of the incident. Police described the first suspect as a white man in his early 20s, wearing a black beanie, black-colored hooded sweatshirt, tan khaki shorts and black shoes. He was armed with a silver-colored semiautomatic handgun.

Police described the second suspect as a white man in his early 20s, wearing a black and green-colored San Jose Sharks baseball hat, a gray jacket, blue jeans and gray-colored shoes.
