Police ID 13-Year-Old Shot, Killed New Year's Eve

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police in Oakland have identified a boy who died Wednesday morning after being shot New Year's Eve as 13-year-old Oakland resident Lee Weathersby.

Lee was shot near the intersection of 104th Avenue and Walnut Street around 9:26 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead Wednesday morning.

Further information was not immediately available.
