Police Action In San Francisco SoMa Prompts Shelter-In-Place

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- People in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood were temporarily asked to shelter-in-place as a police action was unfolding Wednesday afternoon.

San Francisco police said the incident happened in the area of Folsom St. between 9th and 10th Streets. near the unit block of Dore Street.

Just after 3 p.m., police said the shelter-in-place for the unit block of Dore Street had been lifted. There was no immediate word on the nature of the police action.
