Pleasanton Restaurant Robbed At Gunpoint; Suspect Makes Off With Cash

PLEASANTON (CBS SF) -- Police are seeking a suspect who robbed a fast food restaurant at gunpoint Saturday night in Pleasanton, making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At around 9:30 p.m., police said a man drove up to a drive-through window at the Arby's restaurant located at 5900 Owens Drive.

The man allegedly pointed a black semi-automatic type of pistol at the cashier and demanded money, according to police.

Once he got the money the man drove off. He was last seen driving north on Chabot Drive.

When police arrived at the restaurant they searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect, police said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his mid-twenties, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap.

He was driving a dark green, older model minivan with a license plate number beginning with 6HY, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery, according to police.
