Pleasanton Police Find Missing Boy Safe
PLEASANTON (CBS SF) -- Police in Pleasanton found an 11-year-old boy who gone missing safe early Tuesday evening, according to authorities.
Police said that Daniel Romeo, a white male boy described as five feet tall, approximately 80 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, had last seen at Lydikson Elementary School at 7700 Highland Oaks Drive in Pleasanton just before 3 p.m.
The police department's Twitter account announced at about 6:23 p.m. that the boy had been located on the Ironhorse Trail after an alert citizen saw him and called it in.
Daniel was located in Dublin on the Ironhorse Trail thanks to an alert citizen. Thank you for helping to bring Daniel home. #PleasantonCA

Police said they were in the process of reuniting Daniel with his family.
