Caught On Video: Pickpocket In Action On San Francisco Muni

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- A surveillance video clearly shows a pickpocket in action on a Muni bus in San Francisco, police said.
In the video, a man in a black hat and scarf gets behind a man holding a child, then slips his hand into the man's pocket and pulls out a wallet.
The robbery happened in January on the 5-Fulton line.
"To obtain the video takes a little bit of time. So one thing is, the victim didn't remember the bus line, so our investigators as well with Muni worked back and were able to find what bus it was, and then obtain the video," SFPD Officer Giselle Talkoff said.
The thief hasn't been caught.
