Philz Coffee Planning To Expand Beyond Bay Area, Go Nationwide
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Philz Coffee wants to take its brew beyond the Bay Area and go nationwide.
Philz has 18 shops around the Bay Area, and one in Los Angeles, but the company wants to add at least ten stores across the country by the end of the year.
The company is raising tens of millions of dollars for the expansion, and is reportedly close to reaching its goal.
