Person Survives After Being Hit By Caltrain In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A person was hit by a train near the Tamien Caltrain station in San Jose this morning, but survived and is being taken to a hospital, a Caltrain spokeswoman said.

Caltrain first tweeted about the incident at about 10:20 a.m., advising riders to expect delays.

Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said she did not yet have additional details on the collision.
