Person Killed On BART Tracks At San Francisco Civic Center Station

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A person has died on the BART tracks at the Civic Center station in San Francisco Thursday morning, a BART spokesman said today.

The person was reported under the train at 10:08 a.m. on the Daly City line. The station is closed until further notice, BART spokesman Taylor Huckaby said.

BART is running trains through the station without stopping and passengers can expect delays of up to 40 minutes, Huckaby said.

Huckaby said BART officials were encouraging passengers to use San Francisco Municipal Railway, which is offering mutual aid.
