1 Found Dead In Car That Rolled Over Near Petaluma

PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatality that stemmed from a crash east of Petaluma Saturday.

Around 11:15 a.m., officers were notified of vehicle that rolled over and landed on its wheels on Adobe and Frates roads near the Adobe Creek Golf Club, CHP officials said.

Arriving officers found a person deceased in a gray sedan, according to the CHP.

The vehicle was on the shoulder and the roadway was not blocked, CHP officials said.

The Sonoma County coroner's office wAS called to the scene.

No further details were immediately available.
