Pedestrian Killed In San Jose Hit-And-Run Crash
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -Police this morning are investigating a fatal hit-and-run near a golf course in San Jose on Sunday night.
Officers responded at 9:51 p.m. to a call of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the area of Senter Road and Balfour Drive, located near the Los Lagos Golf Course, according to San Jose police.
Responding officers located a man in the street. He was transported to a hospital, where he died Monday morning, police said.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed the victim was crossing Senter Road, possibly on a bicycle, when he was struck by a black sedan.
The driver then fled the scene and remained at large Monday morning.
