Pedestrian In Critical Condition After Haight-Ashbury Hit-And-Run

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police are seeking the driver a car that struck a woman early Friday morning in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury neighborhood, sending her to the hospital with critical injuries.

Around 12:45 a.m., a black older model Lincoln Town Car was traveling east on Haight Street at Masonic Street, according to police.

The car then struck the victim, a 30-year-old woman, as she was walking. The vehicle then fled, continuing east on Haight Street, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition, according to police.

A description of the driver was not immediately available.
