Pedestrian Critically Injured After Being Hit By Train In Antioch

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) - A person was hit by a train and critically injured in Antioch Friday morning.

The train hit a pedestrian at about 7:35 a.m. near Fulton Shipyard Road, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Capt. Robert Marshall said.

An air ambulance was called and medical crews were able get the patient ready for transport to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
