Passenger Punched, Robbed By Group Of Teens At MacArthur BART Station

CONCORD (CBS SF) - Police arrested a group of teens suspected of assaulting and robbing a passenger at the MacArthur BART station, in Oakland.

The attack happened around 10 p.m. Saturday.

The teens punched the victim in the face, leaving him bloodied, and tried to steal his cell phone, according to BART police.

Officers detained the suspects soon after the incident at the MacArthur station.

The victim's injuries were non-life threatening, according to police.

Trains along the line rolled through the MacArthur station for about 25 minutes. By 10:30, trains resumed stopping at the station.
