Pair Suspected Of Having Heroin, Other Drugs For Sale Arrested In Scotts Valley

SCOTTS VALLEY (CBS SF) -- Two people were arrested Friday afternoon in Scotts Valley on suspicion of possessing drugs for sale, according to police.

Officers arrived at a location near state Highway 17 near the Sims Road exit for a report of a domestic disturbance involving two people and two vehicles, according to police.

There, they contacted Kelsey Knoll, 21, and James Hendershaw, 28.

Knoll had just been released from county jail on her own recognizance, in connection with an arrest on Dec. 11. In that incident officers found her driving a car containing heroin and methamphetamine packaged for sale, as well as other narcotics and paraphernalia.

While investigating the domestic disturbance incident, officers searched the two vehicles and again found large quantities of narcotics, including heroin, and paraphernalia inside Knoll's vehicle.

Officers found heroin and illegal prescription medications inside Hendershaw's vehicle.

Officers arrested the pair on suspicion of possessing narcotics for transport and sale.
