Pair Survives Shots Fired At Their Car In Oakland

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A driver and passenger were uninjured after a passenger in another car shot at their vehicle in Oakland early Saturday morning, a police officer said.

A driver called police around 4:15 a.m. to report that a car had been tailing them and then a passenger in the suspect car pulled out a gun and pointed it toward them, according to Oakland police Officer K. Quintela.

The suspect with the gun then fired at the car, which striking the trunk, according to Quintela.

Neither of the victims was harmed.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction and were not located.
