Outage Leaves Thousands Without Power In Oakley

OAKLEY (CBS SF) -- Thousands of homes and businesses were without power in Oakley, on Monday night.

According to PG&E, the outage was first reported at 6 p.m. and affected 2,625 customers.

The utility said the outage was caused by an "equipment issue," and "a repair crew is on-site working to restore power."

The estimated time for restoration was 2 a.m., on July 6.
