1 Critically Hurt In 5-Alarm Warehouse Fire In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- One person was critically injured and several buildings were damaged in a five-alarm fire burning in San Jose near Spartan Stadium Saturday morning, according to fire Capt. Rob Brown.

Around 3:30 a.m. a fire broke out in a warehouse at South Seventh Street and East Alma Avenue, fire officials said.

The blaze went on to damage multiple warehouses, many storage units, and a few commercial buildings, Brown said.

One person suffering from burn injuries was transported to a hospital, according to Brown.

Firefighters are expecting a 12- to 24-hour operation before the fire is under control.
