Obstruction Cleared From BART Track But Major Delays Persist

(CBS SF) -- An obstruction was cleared from a BART track in the Berkeley Hills tunnel Friday morning but major delays persist for commuters, BART officials said.

BART officials first reported the obstruction on the track at 7:30 a.m., which blocked trains between San Francisco and Pittsburg/Bay Point, according to BART.

The obstruction was cleared by about 8 a.m., but trains are delayed as much as 30 minutes Friday morning.
