Oakland teen who went missing last week found safe
A 16-year-old Oakland boy who went missing last week has been found safe, according to police.
Markey Williams Jr. had last been seen March 24 in the 9200 block of Hillside Street in East Oakland's Castlemont neighborhood.
The department posted about the missing teen Wednesday morning on X.
On Tuesday morning, Oakland police confirmed that he had been safely located.
No other details were provided.
