Oakland Man Arrested In Connection With Fremont Robbery

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- A 54-year-old Oakland man was arrested on suspicion of strong-arm robbery in Fremont last week, according to police.

Police said officers were dispatched to a 7-Eleven on Sundale Drive at 11:01 p.m. Tuesday on reports of a man attempting to take money from a woman at an ATM.

According to the police the suspect approached the victim, feigned possession of a firearm and demanded money.

Further details about the suspect were not immediately available.
