Oakland Hoping For Calm Celebrations If Golden State Warriors Win NBA Finals

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- With the Golden State Warriors on the verge of an NBA Finals victory, fans are ready to go wild, prompting pleas to keep the partying under control in Oakland.

Protesters recently knocked out all the windows of Brian Amble's shop on Broadway's auto row.

"Personally, I don't expect a lot of destruction, but that's a guess.  But, you know, I hope people have a great time, and don't trash our city," Amble said.

Oakland City Councilmember Lynette McElhaney says people should have fun, but troublemakers should stay home, especially those from other cities.

"A number of people who get arrested here for creating havoc have addresses elsewhere, and so we say, keep your misery in your own community," McElhaney said.
